One day a small girl went to the forest to buy mangoes and apples to eat. But her mother didn't scold her. She bought 20 mangoes in one basket. In the basket there were 5 laddoos and 3 apples and 3 grapes and 3 bananas and 3 sweet limes.

One day Meenakshi went to the forest and bought a TV. The TV was orange colour, she brought boom boxes home, they were pink, yellow white.

Moneky met a friend. Meenakshi was his friend, but he used to be a terribly bad monkey with his eyes open. His eyes were black, his body was red. Those colours mixed up. They decided to become oragne, black, white, pink, purpole, peachy pink.

Meenakshi picked up a rose from the rose garden. The garden was beautiful. She said let me take more roses for mama (mother.) I think mama will not scold me. I hope mama doesn't scold me and gives me 3 laddoos a day. She decided yes you may have laddoos. Very good my child you picked up roses from down. Yes, mum. #2) One day a small baby ant went on a climber, the climber was full of grapes. The grapes were orange in colour and the oranges were red in colour and they all mixed up and made fruit salad. The salad was orange and white. After you put it in the fridge mother said please, please listen to me, then Chotha Bheem has a 5 laddoos a day.

Maia's mango paratha (like a tortilla) recipe.

Ingredients:

capsicum (bell pepper) paste

green masala

tomatoes

red chillies

special mango atta (flour)

Method:

Make atta the following way: green chillies, tomatoes, red chili paste. Few pieces of capsicum, cherries and mangoes and grapes. Grind all this.

Put some sweet lime, put tiny pieces of carrot and put few pieces of special kind of hairbands. Mango paratha ready :-)

Tomato Paratha:

First make roti (tortilla) and some bhel puri, put green chillies and spicey things and put some special kind of sunflowers. Then put water and make some paste out of bhel puri. Put 3 cups of jam and make some .... (incomplete)

#3) One day a crocodile went on a lake and the crocodile said, I am going to my native place to get some hot buns for my grandmother. My grandmother said if you don't get any hot buns, I will ruin your life. The poor witch crocodile said, "I am very hungry and I am going to eat you said Mr. Brown." Mr. Brown said don't come back or I will ruin your crap life. Then one elephant came and said why are you not sleeping? I am having a stomach pain. After stomach pain, mummy elephant said, drink some milk. The mother said eat some delicious tablets made out of chili. After the stomach pain disappeared, naughty elephant went to the park.

One day my mother went to hunt some fish. One uncle was fishing too. Then that uncle was nangu, pangu (naked) so that uncle said o friend, I want to give you some chocolates for sharing his fish. My grandfather went to the store to buy fish and meat and cookies. Uncle said, please give me some red cookies.

#2) One day one uncle went to buy some red cookies to eat in his little village and to share with his mummy and daddy and children. Then my father and mother went to the baniyan (vest) store to buy some panties and lipsticks. One day my mother and father went to the hall to buy some red cookies and milk and cheese, butter brown and yellow cookies to eat in my little village. In my little village I had 4,000 children because Ali Baba and the 40 thieves came quietly and took away the gold and many necklaces.

His parents said, told him don't go next to princess mausi's house because she has sweet and sour jam laddoos. Then the fire fox came and ate all the laddoos by princess fire fox's house. After the laddoos somebody came and stole princess mausi's laddoos. Then princess mausi came and saw she didn't have any more laddoos to feed the villagers.. love, Maia Kutti.

#1) My grandmother and me made lots of laddoos. My grandfather said there are many laddoos. My grandmother and grandfather said lets keep them in a basket and feed each laddoo to pony girls and pony boys and pony girls will fly and pony boys will fly up in the sky. My grandmother made delicious sweety juice. All kind of flavour my grandmother will make, grapes, orange, mango, appy, sweet lime, pineapple, watermelon, papaya, all these juices my grandmother and grandfather make.

#2) One day a doll came to Madrin's house. She was a beautiful maid, she was wearing 500 gold coin earrings. Mariana the mermaid went to the seahorse uncle. The seahorse uncle went to the market to buy vegetables. The vegetables were sold out after 2 days. Then my father said don't go next to Mariana the mermaid because she is a dirty mermaid. The mermaid went back home. She went back home because she had lots of high temperature. Her temperature was 45.

Then the old witch changed the princes into sticks. Then the barbie dolls were turned into cookies. Then their mother and father came, they saw the prince and barbie dolls. The barbie doll was like a cookie and her mother said ooh gosh, my sister is frozen into crumbs. The barbie and the prince swam on the river. Then the prince wore shorts and the barbie put up some lanterns on her ear. Then laptop was stick ed with barbie dolls.

#2) One day a crocodile laid some eggs. The other naughty crocodile took away 3 eggs. Then the babies hatched out of the nest and said, I am very tired and the second crocodile baby was just 7 years old, then the mummy said "aare va" the 2nd baby has grown. #1) Once upon a time there was a old man who lived in a village far away flutter field. There were 1,000 butterfly fairies. The fairies disappeared after two days. Then the fairy garden necklace put on a spell to Marybella the queen. Queen of center. She was kind and nice be wilderness in the world. She had lots of money from her world. Then her brother took some magical dreams about his life. Then his father came and drove the car to America State. Then uncle Olive came and said, dearing boy what's your name? My name is Shappie laddoo.

#2) One day Alibaba and the 40 thieves went to a temple full of laddoos and vegetables. Cauliflower, radish, carrot, tomato, onion, drumstick and muruku, biscuit. Then lots of buckets of water and some paints, pink colour paint, red colour paint, blue colour paint, orange colour paint and violet and some laptops and chairs and mirrors and clocks and stools and a nice handbag and lots of beautiful sparkling glasses with a little rose and a barbie doll.

Then they made a cake. First they cut the piece like a pan then they cut a nice shape like a mountain, then they put some pink frosty paint then they put another cake piece then they put frosty paint pink in colour, then they put another piece of salty cooked bread like bakeries bake, then they put the frosting paint again. They put another half piece top then they had cake platters which you can use any of the cake platters.

Auntie used a circle, then she started dancing around. Then she put some frost in the pink paint then she spread the frosting outside the platter cake. Then she smoothened the cake with a piece of paper. It was blue in colour, the piece of paper then she smoothened it inside also. Then she put it in a special kind of freezer. It was with a ribbon and it was almost like a glass. Then they had a wrapped barbie doll, then they had a frozen one then auntie pressed the frozen spots on her stomach then over her shoulders, then over her back, then all over her bottom.

On the cake auntie had put little, little starts and the tiny est star. Then for a fairy princess, auntie put a magical wand and a birthday hat.

#3) One day a barbie doll out of plastic, she went on a magical car with a trolley and her puppy and kitten. When the barbie reached the swimming pool, her puppy and kitten, her puppy wore shorts. The kitten wore a bikini. Barbie doll also wore a bikini. Then her barbie doll friends were also there, so they were having a good time with their puppies and friends and kittens and dolls. Then so many princes, the princes wore shorts, then many princes and many barbie dolls were dancing with the sand flowing to the sea. Then radio was going on.

#4) The the princes said, I want to marry all the barbie dolls. Then all the prince had laptops and all the barbie dolls looked at the many princes laptops. #1) A boy was in the land with a beautiful boat on the water for the crocodiles to eat up. Because the crocodile went into a golden silver chammy, because there was a princess dancing in the jaskerae ballroom. Now there was a golden shitra pavilion and there was a dancer dancing in the ballroom for 20 hours. Then the prince and princess danced in the dancing room and put a dot on the quall.

#2) The little girl lived in a village happily singing a beautiful song. The little bad yamuna demon was called lutappi. Dalia the little girl's mother called out and said Dalia. Then lutappi took away Dalia happily in the yamuna forest, and Krishna and Balaram went to the captain demon lutappi and caught Dalia and Dalia was saved from the 12 March.

#3) One day there was a old man feeding monkey in the jungle. So Granbie Buklam fed the elephants drama kind ice-cream.

#1) Into the golden white pavilion there were golden white ducks in the cool water. Santa put his sleigh down, the reindeer were very sick in the cool and white winter. So one lady came out in her nightie and gave hot chocolate and yummy cookies to Santa. Santa danced in the golden pavilion. The golden pavilion was like a beautiful stream in the yamuna river (river in India)Santa saw the many sparkling seals. Then Santa decided to give each present to the sparkling seals.

Into the white golden pavilion, there was a beautiful swan who had silver wings, black colour body and golden legs, and the swan was beautiful with silver sparklings on his chest. The sparkling orange was like a big orange.

#2) Santa gave each present to the penguins who lived in the icy snow. The snow became shivering, Santa went home. He did not want to deliver the presents, so Santa decided not to bring presents everyday. He took his presents away from the North pole and became very old. Then the sparkling shivering small Krishna and Balaram baby, so the golden white pavilion started into golden pavilion. Big creep open (name of the bear) opened the door gently. So Santa gave some nice shoes and a walking stick. I like the walking stick when my old parents come they can use the walking stick in my old house. I always like my walking stick because my auntie always comes every weekend. So Christmas, idd was over, then new year came. Santa disappeared after few days. Santa became very old, he was supposed to die but he didn't want to die. Santa's parents didn't want to die. Santa's parents were very happy to see his best child in the world.

#1) Balaram is the big brother. When he was small he used to go to a baby dungeon. Then Mayavi came out suddenly because he had an invitation to go with is mother and Krishna. His father was wondering because Krishna and Balaram were fighting with Anapur uncle. Suddenly, Krishna dropped mangoes on the floors everywhere.

Then I will give you some bread and toast. When I give you bread and toast, I will be so hungry. I will want to make ice-cream. When I am finished, I will want to make a sandwich. When I am done, I will want a cookie to go with it.

#2) There was a boy who lived in the castle. So that boy left his shirt and his button to stitch, and he forgot his mother didn't ask him to go out. Then my father didn't listen so he went to the castle and saw his button and he was going to make the biggest sandwich in the world. Then his mother came and told rot to eat sandwich. If you give him the sandwich he will want a cookie mix. If you are finished with the cookie you will have to ask your mother to buy. Then your aaja (grandfather in Marathi language which is spoke in the state of Maharashtra) will say not to bring the cake.

Let's go to our nani's (maternal grandmother) house, but nani is not feeling well. So brother bear asked the girl and the boy.Then sister bear did some attacking. Then brother bear started shouting at the three women, but sister bear wanted to go in the baby pool, but brother bear didn't want to go, because mama and papa were going out for a picnic.

#1) There was a girl and a boy. They lived in a small little mushroom. They were so cold, they thought I would love to go to the diamond castle. Let me send two pairs of goodies. I thought my heart was going to become like a fountain. Then my system is as big as my mom. My mom is very sweet and daddy too. My mommy is a very kind person (yippie :-) i love that maia kutti) My sister is also kind and my brother too. And soon Christmas will come says mom. Mom didn't know what to do. She got a phone and took it to the hotel. And my sister took me to a place where my ssiter enjoyed. Mom asked where is sister. Brother didn't know where is sister. Sister came back. The little girl was so excited. Then my sister called up to me and said what's the problem, then brother said no going out to play.

#1) Once upon a time there was a girl, a boy, three children were going out. Then they found a puppy and took it home. Then they fed it and it was gone to sleep. Then four ladies and four men were going out for a vacation to each places. They went to some other place and went to sleep. Bangalore that Maia a girlfriend and I used to go.) They found vegetable pulao then they went to a place in Hyderabad and girl called Mariana she stopped to tell a lady something. She told that she is not well. I am going to a doctor, will you please take me to the doctor because someone is going home.

Then someone was getting married so they found each girl in the world so that Mariana would sing a little song for a little girl. Then Mariana told her father to take good care of the little children and Mariana went off to school. She did not give up because Mariana had forgot her phone.

A very pretty lady she is so young and she does not want to ask her mother for anything. She just wants to sleep. She just wants her mother to call her father-in-law and her mother-in-law. So her mother-in-law called the doctor and gave some surgery for some vaccination.

Then someone took the little babies home. Then they went to the castle and found his cap and his mittens. It was so cold in winter. It was adorable face of a cute puppy. Adorable cute love of puppies. Then Manjunath told the dogs, go, go I will hit you on a bad stick otherwise you will be gone to Manjunath's house and Armaan went to Manjunath's house.

7 March 2009 - Saturday

#1) Once upon a time there was a big house. Then a skeleton was there, a scary house, it was a very big deep swimming pool, someone threw the book. Someone threw the earing, a pencil box was there, a sharpner, a eraser and a pencil, and a note book and some fruits and one pillow case. A pillow case of one book, sharpner, eraser, pencil, glass, pencil box, bag, a ruler, a earing a barbie doll.

#2) A glass of milk a boy and girl. The girl was Maia, the boy was Sachitus. A boy was Rohan, a girl was Mauktika, a boy was Prithvi and Srijeet (names of children who were members of the children's library I worked in during our stay in Bangalore.) and one pooh bear. A ruler, a pencil, a sharpner, a eraser and a book and a disc, Alice in wonderland, a little mermaid and Billu Barber.

#3) Once upon a time there was a golden fish. It was lying in the fish tank. It swimed a lot, and one fish died. A second person died. A very big house, a lady and a child went to the house, no electricity on the road, no electricity in the houses, they lit a candle, then they climbed up the stairs, then there was no electricity upstairs. There was a skeleton in the closet. The lady and the child were dead. A barbie doll was in a castle. They were getting married to Manmohan Singh and to Obama.

#4) Once upon a time a girl and boy called Rohan and Aditi. They went to the swimming and swam. They were so cold, they went for a camel ride, then they went to the desert. Then they find a crow, a fisherman with a lot of fish.

A man went to a school, Roots Montessori, (name of pre-school maia attended in Bangalore) he was teaching there for 5 months and he had a daughter called Avani, then they gave all the children homework. Then they gave Dhwani homework, Kalpana, Nischol, Keshav, Shisti Nagaraj, Ananya, Aditi Poornima, Rohan, SAnjana, Hritvik (names of her classmates.)

In a very big castle a baby was born. 8 months, 1 1/2 months. Actually a fairy god mother went to the spooky house and she got a list for 1 1/2 month, she is going to be dead, and she is not alive. She is burning her body. She wants to get to eat at a restaurant. She wants to go home and do her homework. Her mama and papa are calling her. She wants to do a game called skipping rope.

8 March 2009 - Sunday

#1) There was a very big fish. A boy drowned in the shark's mouth. He went to the ceiling and got his photograph. He went to gmail.com, he went to do some work. He gone for skating. he got a wound. he write a letter and he went to the post box. Somebody had sent a message. A boy had got injured. A lady and a man went to a hospital to see a brand new baby to get a feeling of hers. She went to the doctor for a check-up. She went for a vaccination and injection.

#2) Once upon a time there was cinderella, a stepmother, a step sister and a very beautiful castle in Nagaland (one of our neighbour's in Bangalore were from Nagaland.) She went to the castle and danced, it was 8.30pm. Then it was time to go home, it was late at night.

#3) Once upon a time there was a girl called Aashita. She went to a house, she went slowly walking to her mother. She saw a old walking with a sweet. She gave it to her. She didn't wanted to eat it. The fan was on, the light was on, then she went to a children's library and she found a paper towel of golden fish, The princess wanted me for beauty and the beast. beauty and the beast went to the castle and got his signature and he went home. He had bath and he went to sleep last night. He saw a skeleton.

10 March 2009 - Tuesday

#1) Once upon a time, there was a big castle in the whole world of North India. They went to a seashore they went to a beach they went to a very big house in North Pole. The Santa Claus was going in his sleigh, he was delivering presents at each house, Dora's shouse. Santa dropped gift to each animal. They went to the play area. They found a very big hut, then they moved to a hut in North Pole in Savitri Amma's (our neighbour in Bangalore) house. She dropped a present at the house and went to sleep. She woke up in the morning and got off the bed and went to the kitchen and made hot tea for them.

A little boy called Nikit Vajnatha went to the skeleton's house and found his big cozy bed and went to sleep on his bed. Then he woke up in the morning and said what a mistake I have made says Armaan (my colleague's son in Bangalore.) Armaan told this is not nice I will give you a special bed to sleep on their head. 11 March 2009 Wednesday

#1) Once upon a time thee was a girl called Mariella. Then a boy called her Marabella. Once upon a time someone was getting married to somebody with Million and Adtesh and Priyanka in a happy world it is good to give kiss to Girish Agarwal (my dear good friend) and Aditi Poornima. Maia and Ananya trudged home. She went to a spooky house and found a door banged with Mariella's house. She trudged home and went to school again. She trudged home and found her mama going to office. Her friends called her Marabella. A girl and a boy. A girl named Aditi and Avani and Maia, Kalpana and Ananya (names of her classmates from her pre-school in Bangalore.)

#2) Once upon a time there was a girl called maia. The she wennt to a dark house and found her clothes. She picked up it and ran. She found a beautiful gown. She went to a bush and hide behind the bush.

#3) Once upon a time there was a golden fish and a duckling and a haathi (elephant) were going to school. They trudged home two minutes the van uncle came.

#4) Once upon a time there was a girl and a boy went to a house. They were sleeping. Then they went to a castle. They found Mickey Mouse and they trudged home with Mickey Mouse.

13 March 2009 - Friday

Maia turned 5 on 12 March 2009

#1) Once upon a time, there was a girl called Mariana. A boy called Rohan, Rohan and Mariana went to a beautiful castle and found his magic things. He got his phone then he went to the castle and found his mobile phone and he went to the old castle in Hyderababd. A glass of water spilt on the ground. The old man had to mop it away so Suchitus told the fellow to kill that little boy called Mariana and Rohan. Mariana and Rohan were sleeping in the bedrooms and didn't want to wake up, so he told SAchitus to raise his hands up. So Suchitus went to the castle and found his duty, and found his watch and found his cream and found his mobile and a phone.

#2) Once upon a time there was a big school and Sachitus went to that school. SAchitus went to a doctor called Mariana. So Mariana and Peri went to the house and Mobal.

#3) Once upon a time there was a castle and a school next to it. There was a child and a boy. They went to the castle and found his clip and she gave it to Mariana.

16 March 2009 - Monday

#1) There was a golden fish and a blue tank with colourful fish and with a boy and girl. With Sandeep (appa/daddy) and Maia and they went to the seashore and found many shells with golden shells.

#2) Once upon a time there was 3 bears. Then they lived in a little cottage, then mama bear, father bear, baby bear they went for a walk and Goldilocks went to the cottage and she found father bowl, mother bowl and baby bowl. Goldilocks tried to eat mama bear's porridge, it was so cold, father bear's was so hot, baby bowl was correct. Goldilocks at the porridge and she was so full. Then they just arrived from their walk.

#3) Once upon a time there was a christmas tree. Then Christopher Robin and Winnie the pooh danced around. Piglet and bunny jumped around. So pooh decided to find Christopher Robin so he found Christopher Robin.

#4) Once upon a time there was a girl, she was crying at home so her mother told don't cry. Then she went home and she ran home fast. She was trudging home. Then she was singing along with her friends and jumping around.

17 March 2009 - Tuesday

#1) Once upon a time there was a girl, a boy, three children were going out. Then they found a puppy and took it home. Then they fed it and it was gone to sleep. Then four ladies and four men were going out for a vacation to each places. They went to some other place and went to sleep. They went to the birthday girl and went to Casa Picola (restaurant in 4th Block, Jayanagar

Bangalore that Maia a girlfriend and I used to go.) They found vegetable pulao then they went to a place in Hyderabad and girl called Mariana she stopped to tell a lady something. She told that she is not well. I am going to a doctor, will you please take me to the doctor because someone is going home.

Then someone was getting married so they found each girl in the world so that Mariana would sing a little song for a little girl. Then Mariana told her father to take good care of the little children and Mariana went off to school. She did not give up because Mariana had forgot her phone.

A very pretty lady she is so young and she does not want to ask her mother for anything. She just wants to sleep. She just wants her mother to call her father-in-law and her mother-in-law. So her mother-in-law called the doctor and gave some surgery for some vaccination.

#2) There was a girl and a boy. They were going to a pretty castle in Hyderabad. They found a baby it was born Tuesday. Tuesday the baby was crying she wanted to go home because someone was getting married to the born baby. Someone was getting married to a lady. A girl she took good care of the babies. They are still cranky someone took them to the hospital, the baby got injured for 5 months. The baby was okay 10 days, so someone was going to castle to marry a lady and boy. Then someone buried the baby and went to sleep. A baby is going to die for 5 months. It will not come back for 10 days.

17 March 2009 - Tuesday

22 March 2009 - Sunday

There was a girl and a boy. Lived in a beautiful sea also they went to the scenery so someone was selling juices for today so someone told me to get the card. Valentine card. Then someone's birthday came and they sang for someone so everybody was cheering up. There were tears of joy then they cried for mama's daughter. She cried a lot. She went for a horse ride. She went to a beauty castle and she found her beautiful girl and her friend. So she had a great time with her friend.

28 March 2009 - Saturday

#1) Mickey and Goofy lived in a little house and they went to a little cottage where his friends stayed. So Allah lived in a hot place. Allah left the house at 7 O'clock to a little house his friends stayed next to the garage and he didn't have his car ready. He forgot to brush his teeth.

#2) One day a little hippo and mama hippo and daddy hippo lived in a little cottage. They left at 9 O'clock.

#3) Goldilock and the three bears. They lived in a little house, mama bear, papa bear, baby bear. They left at 7 O'clock so they walked and suddenly Goldilocks popped up. When she was going to eat some porridge she tried the mama bowl, it was too cold, papa bowl too hot, baby bowl was not too hot, it was little cold and she ate it.

#4) Once upon a time there lived a little house, then it was a skeleton house and there was no lights. So a man was going to walk to the little skeleton's house. So the wheel is punched and there lived a little ball pool over there and they ran inside and a skeleton followed them.

I will be posting stories narrated by Maia. I started writing the stories from 7 March 2009. She was 5 days short of her 5th birthday then. The stories are UNEDITED. They are purely her imagination and language. So here I go....
